Some people say that God never speaks to them. But God is talking ALL the
time; we are just not listening.

In 1 Kings 17:2-3, God gave specific direction to Elijah on where to go and it
was in that place that God was going to feed him.  He told him, “Get thee
hence and turn thee eastward, and hide thy self by the brook, Cherith, that is
before Jordan.” God said go eastward, hide by the brook, and then told him the
name of the brook sohe would not hide by the wrong one. He told him “Cherith”
and that it was the brook before you got to Jordan.  My, my! What direction!
God will speak to you the same way. Just pray for hearing ears; that you can hear
what the Spirit is saying.

God told Elijah he would drink of the brook and that the ravens would feed
him. I feel there are people reading this letter that while God has spoken to
you, you have been afraid to move; afraid that you would make a mistake. But you
are already down and can't go any further down! You just need to do what you feel
in your heart and what God is telling you to do, and He will save you from where
you are and get you started on the right track. Some of you may be without a job,
without a home to live in, or be without money, but God is your answer! He said
that they who wait upon the Lord shall not be ashamed.

God will do the same for you as he did for Elijah. He is not a respecter of
persons. What he does for one he will do for another. Would you do more for one
of your children than you would for another? I don't think so. God is the same
yesterday, today and forever.  Abraham had to leave his father’s house,
a place that was familiar to him, and go into a land he had never been; to a
place he knew nothing about. In doing so he had to trust God.  You will have
to do the same thing—trust God,knowing that he never let Abraham down and he
won't let you down either.

I feel someone that is reading this feels to start a work for the Lord and you
have waited and waited because of money and because the economy looks bad and you are saying to yourself, “What a time to try and do this! Why could not He have
spoke at a better time when things where better?” But the Lord does things in His
time and they are the best times because we have to trust Him. There is no
better time to start than now. God will lead you and prove himself just like he
did Elijah, and you will not fail.

To you that need to do what God has told you to do, step out in faith today
and see if HE will not do for you what He said and keep you like he did Elijah.
He fed him and kept him hid from danger until the appointed time.

I want to encourage you again this month: “He giveth power to the faint ; and to them that have no might, He increaseth strength.” (Isa 40:29) You may feel like your strength to go on is gone, but the Lord said that to them that have no might He increaseth strength. What a promise God has made to you! You won't be defeated in this thing you are going through because the Lord is going to increase your might! You may feel like your push to go on is gone and that it takes you too much effort to go on, but the Lord is going to renew your strength in Him.

“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (Isa 40:31)  WEARY means TOIL AND SUFFERING or having one’s patience or tolerance exhausted. You may be feeling this way today, but know the promise God made to you that you would run and not be weary.

The toil and suffering we feel sometimes comes because we fail to RENEW our minds with the things of God, and when the pressures of life come and our minds have not been RENEWED, then we just want to give up. But this is no time to give up! We must go on! We must RENEW our minds daily because the enemy comes every day to try to destroy and kill even those that know their God. You RENEW your mind daily with the reading of the WORD and praying.

Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the RENEWING of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and perfect will of God.” The Word of God teaches us how to RENEW our mind, but is up to us to do the RENEWING. God saves us but we must be willing to RENEW our thinking and confessing. When you go to look for work, you must have confidence that God is on your side and that he is going to give you a job. For He is God and he cannot lie. You must say to yourself, “I will get what I have need of today.” The Word says He would give us our daily bread, but we must believe—that is our part. The Word says we walk and will not faint. His Word is true. Know we're standing with you.

If you are in the Tulsa area, don’t forget the meeting this Saturday, June 16th at 10:00AM! We look forward to seeing you there!

God Bless You is our prayer~

Today, you may feel like your back is against the wall. You may be down to the deadline on paying your bills or perhaps have come to the place in your health that you may be facing surgery. We read in Gen 22-10, That Abraham found himself down to the wire when he was faced with taking his own sons life.  There was no sacrifice in sight, but with his out-streached arm to end his sons life, God provided a ram caught in a bush. God will come to your rescue as he did for Abraham becasuse He is no respecter of persons. What He does for one, He will do for another.

In John 11-39, we read the story of Lazarus who died and had been in the grave four days before Jesus came to his friend.  Jesus said, ''Take away the stone.'' Martha, Lazarus' sister, said, "It is to late. He stinketh by now." In verse 25, Jesus had already told Martha that He was the resurrection and the life and that he had the power to change things. Martha could only see the resurrection at the last day.

The Lord Jesus keeps saying, "I Am the resurrection and the life. You don't have to wait until things get better around you for your situation to change. I am what you need and I will change your situation NOW."

You may feel like time has run out and there is no hope, but with God, there is no situation He can't take care of. He will do it for YOU. Jesus came to set the captives FREE, and that is YOU and ME; all you have to do is lift your hands and begin to PRAISE HIM for being free, no longer in bondage to whatever your situation has been. You are FREE NOW. In John 8:36 it says, ''If the Son therefore shall make you FREE, Ye shall be FREE indeed." You are FREE, from alcohol, sin, sickness, debt, and all addictions. Whatever has had you bound, you are FREE today!
